2. Monthly subscriptions
If you are within the first 14 days of your first paid monthly subscription and have not consumed more than 50% of your plan’s included usage limits, email 738888@proton.me with your account email and the reason for the request. We will refund the most recent charge in full.
Outside the 14-day window, monthly charges are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time from Settings → Billing → Cancel plan; access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
3. Annual subscriptions
Within the first 30 days of an annual subscription you may request a pro-rated refund for the unused portion, minus a 10% administrative fee. Example: you paid US$290 on day 1; on day 20 you cancel. Used days = 20; remaining days = 345; pro-rata credit = US$290 × (345 / 365) = US$274.11; after 10% fee ≈ US$246.70 refunded.
After 30 days, annual plans are non-refundable, but you may still cancel auto-renewal at any time.
4. Usage-based fees
Charges for metered features (AI analyses, AI voice minutes, SMS messages, WhatsApp business-initiated conversations, custom domain SSL) are non-refundable once consumed. This applies regardless of whether the consumption produced the outcome you expected, because third-party services (OpenAI, Twilio, Meta, etc.) charge us for every unit used.
If you believe a usage charge resulted from an Anvil bug (e.g. a runaway workflow that sent duplicate messages), contact us with details and we will investigate. Confirmed Anvil-caused over-consumption will be credited back within 14 days.
5. Circumstances without refund
Refunds are not available when:
- The account was terminated for violation of the Terms of Service, our acceptable-use rules, or applicable law.
- The subscription was paid via a reseller, marketplace, or enterprise order form (refund terms live in that contract).
- The charge is more than 60 days old, unless required by consumer law in your jurisdiction.
- You are requesting a refund because the Service did not deliver a specific business outcome (the Service is a tool, not a guarantee of results).
6. How to request a refund
- Email 738888@proton.me from the email address on your Anvil account.
- Include the invoice number (visible under Billing → Invoices).
- Tell us briefly why you are requesting a refund.
- We reply within 2 business days and, for eligible refunds, issue the refund through Stripe within 5 business days. Your bank may take 5-10 additional days to reflect the credit.
7. Chargebacks
If you are unhappy with a charge, please email us first — we will resolve legitimate issues promptly. Initiating a chargeback or dispute without first contacting us may result in immediate account suspension while the dispute is investigated. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable administrative fee for chargebacks determined to be unjustified.
8. Your statutory rights
This policy does not override statutory rights granted to consumers in your jurisdiction (for example, the 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers in the EU under Directive 2011/83/EU, or the cooling-off provisions of the Hong Kong Trade Descriptions Ordinance where applicable). If local law grants you a more favourable right, that right prevails.
